Mining Mate

The role of a Mining Mate in metaliferous (metal-containing) mines involves a range of responsibilities focused on ensuring the efficient and safe extraction of minerals.

Qualification: BE in mining with 2nd class certificate under MMR unrestricted. Diploma in mining with foreman certificate under MMR unrestricted.

Must have Gas testing certificate

Must have First Aid certificate.

Responsibility: Must have site supervision knowledge, Safety Management knowledge,operational duties, drilling & blasting knowledge, material handling, record keeping, training & development,environmental compliance.
